The service

Puhelo is a voice-to-text app for macOS by Agenton Oy (Helsinki, Finland). By using it, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need a free account to use Puhelo. Keep your login details safe, you’re responsible for activity on your account.

Plans & billing

Every new account starts with 7 days unlimited. After that, the free plan gives you 300 words a day. Pro removes the limit for a monthly or yearly fee, billed through Stripe. Cancel anytime, you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund partial periods.

Your content

You own everything you dictate. We claim no rights over your text, and since your audio is never stored, there’s nothing for us to keep.

Acceptable use

Use Puhelo for any lawful purpose. Don’t use it for anything illegal or harassing, and don’t reverse-engineer, resell, or try to extract our models.

Availability

We aim for reliable, always-on service but can’t promise zero downtime. We may update the app or pause it for maintenance, with reasonable notice where we can.

Liability

Puhelo is provided as-is. Accuracy is high but not guaranteed to be perfect, and we’re not liable for loss arising from transcription errors or service interruptions.

Changes

We may update these terms and will email you about material changes. Continuing to use Puhelo means you accept them.

Governing law

Finnish law applies, and any disputes are handled by the courts of Helsinki.
