The short version: we collect as little as possible, your voice is transcribed in the EU and thrown away immediately, and we never sell your data or train on it.

Who we are

Puhelo is made by Agenton Oy, a company in Helsinki, Finland. We are the data controller for your personal data. Questions? [email protected].

What we collect

Your account. Your email address and when you signed up. That’s it, no name, no phone number.

Your voice. When you dictate, your audio is streamed to our EU servers, turned into text, and discarded the moment it’s transcribed. We never store recordings and never use your audio to train AI.

Usage. Anonymous counts, how many words you’ve used today, error rates, basic performance, so the app works and your daily limit is fair. No transcripts, no content.

How we use it

Only to run and improve Puhelo and to handle billing. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise to you, and we only share data with the providers we need to operate (hosting, transcription, and Stripe for payments), never anyone else.

Where it’s processed

Inside the European Union. Your audio and account data stay in the EU/EEA and are not transferred elsewhere.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Email [email protected] and we’ll sort it within 30 days. Deleting your account erases your email and usage history.

Cookies

No tracking or advertising cookies. The website uses none; the app keeps you signed in with a single authentication token. No third-party analytics.

Changes

If we change anything that matters, we’ll email you first.
